Mike is a Hollywood icon. Over the past four decades, he has orchestrated the casting for some of Hollywood’s biggest movies ever. Dating back to “American Graffiti” in 1973, Mike cast for “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” the “Indiana Jones” trilogy, the “Back to the Future” film series, “Total Recall,” “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” “Poltergeist” and “The Amityville Horror.” In the family film genre, Mike directed the casting for “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” “The Goonies,” “The Burbs” and a series of Muppet movies. During his career, Mike has been a trusted partner by heralded filmmakers George Lucas and Steven Spielberg and has worked with them on almost 20 different film projects.

Michael resides in the Los Angeles area and runs Fenton-Cowitt Casting with his partner, Allison Cowitt (also a Casting Director for “Down and Derby”).
