Steele created his own production company, Pure Entertainment, to produce family-friendly movies for film and television. As Producer, he has coordinated the filming for “Message in a Cell Phone” and “Horse Crazy” which currently air on HBO. Steele was also the assistant director for the three sequels to the hit family movie "Clubhouse Detectives

Steele lives in Hurricane, Utah, with his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
